My Self-Portrait Final

I am irreplaceable, strong and unique. I have endured many struggles to reach where I am today. The smile on my face not only signifies my pride but also my integrity. The image of my father indicates the man that has always been there for me, and ensures that I succeed at everything and anything I strive to do, I do not have an image of my mother because I see her rarely but doesn’t mean I do not have the same love for her as I do for my father. The diploma and graduation hat represent my goal to graduate high school and live a successful life. The nursing hat and stethoscope represent the simple fact that I want to go to medical school and help others. Simple things I like are Tweety, giraffes, nature, penguins, and shopping. My boyfriend is not only my partner but my best friend, he is always there to support me and this past year with him has been unforgettable. I am unique because I am able to represent Colombia as a cultural ambassador, teach others about my culture, and perform dances for others to see. The rocking chair is my only real memory of my old house; I still remember when my mother would rock me in that chair. I know that I will play an important role in society and I will fulfill my destiny with joyous satisfaction. This piece is irreplaceable, strong and unique just like me.
